The Memory Care Neighborhood has 20 studio apartments that are specially designed for those with Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia. The neighborhood has:

	Personnel, including nurses, specially trained in caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias
	Safety and security for those who may wander due to their dementia. Examples include secured doors and a wandering garden to encourage outdoor recreation
	A special dining room designed to have residents feel at home
	A full-time activity director and staff who provide daily activities that use mental and sensory stimulation to promote residents' skills and abilities

Short-stay care/respite care

Short-stay care/respite care is ideal for ambulatory seniors who have been in the hospital and aren't quite ready to go home or for those whose caregivers need a break. Short-stay residents may live at the Landing for as long as three months. The cost starts at $150 per day.

Like full-time residents, short-stay residents receive

Short-stay residents may also create customized care plans to meet their individual needs.
