Do I sign a lease? [top of page]
No. We rent month to month. Residents must provide 30 days notice before leaving. A membership fee will reserve your apartment.
Is the membership fee refundable? [top of page]
It is until you move into the Landing.
Is the Landing covered by insurance? [top of page]
The Landing is a private-pay facility; although, long-term care insurance may cover some costs.
May I have overnight guests? [top of page]
Yes, although requests need to be approved by the community director.
May I have a pet? [top of page]
Yes, for an additional cost of $30 a month. You must be able to handle all the pet's care without any assistance.
I don't drive. How do I get to my appointments? [top of page]
A van is available to take residents to appointments within a 10-mile radius. There is a fee for transportation to appointments outside this radius.
Where can I park my car? [top of page]
We have ample parking for residents and their guests.
Do you lock the door at night? [top of page]
The doors are locked at 9 p.m. but residents have keys so they can come and go as they please.
What if I am ill or need help? [top of page]
Each apartment has an emergency call system, and someone is available 24-hours a day to assist you.
What happens if I'm no longer able to live on my own? [top of page]
If an internal assessment determines that you can no longer live on your own, we will work with you and your family to find housing that will meet your needs.
I'm on a special diet. How will you handle that? [top of page]
We can accomodate most special diets. The staff will also help residents make selections from the menu that will meet their dietary needs.
